Rs104 bln dues payable to PSO

KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) owes a debt of Rs97 billion to a number of organizations as against Rs104 billion payable to it by others.

According to PSO officials, the company owes Rs26 billion to Pak-Arab Refinery; Rs12.5 billion to Pakistan Refinery; Rs8.74 billion to National Refinery; Rs15.5 billion to Attock Refinery and; Rs4.5 billion to Bosicor Refinery. It has to pay Rs9.67 billion to Kuwait Petroleum and Rs19.72 billion to clear its dues against LCs.

The officials said PSO is to receive Rs98.31 billion in arrears from various organizations: WAPDA owes Rs41.43 billion; HUBCO Rs36 billion; KEPCO Rs16 billion and; Rs2.41 billion from the government under price deferential claim for KESC.
