Lionel Messi : Barcelona (Spain) (AFP) – Lionel Messi scored twice Wednesday to lead Barcelona to a 4-0 win over VfB Stuttgart on the quarter-finals and the Champions League.
Barcelona won 5-1 on total and Spain to ensure that one team in the quarter-final with Real Madrid and Sevilla after it emerged.
Messi put defending champion ahead in the 13th minute at the Camp Nou rising shot which beat the goalkeeper Jens Lehmann. The Argentine striker then found the net with a low shot in the 60th for his 31st goal in all competitions this season.
Pedro Rodriguez scored from Yaya Toure pass centered in the 22nd, Bojan Krkic scored the alternative to separatism minute 89th.
